INVESTMENT

Realizing the importance of high-quality, consistent photos, and valuing professional delivery of services, families plan to invest a minimum of $400-$650 in their image collection and photo experience. Pricing below reflects investment for the following:

  • pre-session consultation & detailed session planning / welcome guide
  • use of client wardrobe and props (in-studio)
  • the session itself + private, online viewing gallery
  • mid-sized digital image collection*, with print release

*more inclusive digital collections, as well as high-quality photo products available

NEWBORN

My newborn style is simple and natural. In order to keep images timeless and pure, I rarely use props beyond simple wraps and small headbands. Newborn sessions most often occur within two weeks of baby's birth, and may include parents and older siblings.

MINIMUM INVESTMENT $550

maternity

I offer a "Petite" Maternity studio session for mamas who have booked their newborn session with me. Daddy or one child may be added for a small fee. Larger, more-extensive maternity sessions also available. Please inquire.

MINIMUM INVESTMENT $275

milestone

Most commonly, these are sessions for "sitters", birthday babies, and toddlers / preschoolers. Sessions take place primarily in my studio on Mondays or Fridays, and are designed for one child.

MINIMUM INVESTMENT $400

family

Generally, family sessions occur outdoors, in the late afternoon or evening, when natural light is optimal. Focus will be on interaction, connection, and authentic emotion. Families are the most lovely when they are relaxed and having fun.

MINIMUM INVESTMENT $500

senior

Senior sessions will be kept simple, focusing on the PERSON, not their "stuff" (i.e. minimal props). Sessions are 2-3 hours long & include a variety of both indoor (optional) & outdoor settings, with opportunity for a multitude of wardrobe changes.

minimum investment $650

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the different digital packages?

Above, you will see listed the *minimum* investment for each session type. If this general amount is within your photography budget, I am happy to share more detailed Investment and Collection information with you. When you inquire, I will send you a document describing each of your Collection ordering options. I believe in transparent pricing, so there are no surprises at any point during the process.

Do I need to pay all at once?

No. Clients make three monetary installments: Retainer Fee, Session Fee, and Order Fee. These are spread out, making it more financially manageable for families. If you would like to further spread out payment of your Order Fee, this can be done, by arrangement.

How early do I need to book?

Honestly, the sooner the better. I fill up rather quickly, especially in the warmer months. I do limit the number of sessions I do each month, and--sadly--must decline requests that would put me over this limit. Newborn and First Year families are my scheduling priority.

Do you offer weekend sessions?

Short answer: I try not to.
As you can understand, weekends are my family time. Studio sessions almost always occur on Mondays or Fridays, during the day. Family and Senior sessions usually occur in the evening, Monday-Thursday. In rare instances, a weekend session might be possible, but this is more the exception than the rule.

How are photos delivered?

Images will be delivered via Digital Download, and detailed download and usage instructions will be provided. If you prefer to have images on a USB, you may add this option when you place your order.

What can I do with digital photos?

You are purchasing digital images and the right to print them, on your own, for personal use. I recommend www.unitprints.com for ALL client printing and strongly discourage use of one-hour photo labs. There is no limit on the size or quantity you can print on your own. However, for highest quality, large prints are best purchased through CRP. You are encouraged to share images on social media, using web-sized versions of the photos. Photo credit is a much-appreciated courtesy.

You are not allowed to edit, crop, filter, or otherwise change the original photo. You are not allowed to use photos for competitions or commercial endeavors, without specific permission.

Can I order photo products from you?

Absolutely. Sometimes people just don't want to mess with ordering their own prints/products. If this is the case for you, I am happy to offer prints of all sizes, canvas, and photo books, at a competitive price. You will receive a full a la carte ordering menu at the time of your session.
